PROJECTS

KEYS TO ANTI-RACIST AND FEMINIST LIVING TOGETHER IN DIVERSITY: VOICES OF WOMEN IN EXILE

This magazine is the result of the research work on intercultural living together carried out during 2024 by the association EREI. For this purpose, we have relied on the work and participation of four Afghan women living in exile in Greece, Germany, France and Basque Country, respectively. They have contacted and interviewed other women in exile, most of them from Afghanistan, with the aim of collecting their voices and experiences on intercultural living together. This work has been carried out with the co-fundig of the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council.

CHALLENGES OF THE ASYLUM PROCESS IN THE MAIN EUROPEAN HOST COUNTRIES: ORIGINS AND RESPONSES

This research work analyzes the migratory realities of the main European host countries, i.e. Germany and France, at first hand and from a gender and a global perspective. Through personal interviews carried out with asylum seekers, refugees and migrants, it makes visibles the challenges that they have to face in these countries and introduces the reality of the countries of origin and the activisms and projects that are created in response to the challenges. This work has been carried out with the co-fundig of the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council.

IN SCHOOLS

EREI is working together with other NGOs that are present in the borders of Europe in order to raise awareness in schools. We make direct online connection with NGOs and people that are stuck in the borders, so that the students have the chance to meet the reality that refugees and migrants are facing.
